It actually didn't matter who was president, because the lawsuits we're thrown out by the judges. Obama didn't have to defend it. So no is not different. The same thing can happen with this case. Just relax and wait it out.

No matter what happens, I will NEVER forgive Ken Paxton for the hell he caused all of us. He is a sick excuse for a human being and I can't wait for his trial so he gets the 99 years in prison he deserves!

Good point. If Trump keeps it, the legal threat will still be there. Congress needs to act, or we will continue to deal with this kind of crap in the ensuing years from far right groups that just will never like us.
