Are you sure?

Please read again, this time carefully..

Reforming
1. make changes in (something, typically a social, political, or economic institution or practice)

So unless you are suggesting that they’d (US citizens) be able to sponsor more extended family, I’m guessing you absolutely mean less. Hence that would mean “reforming” as in TAKING away a current right.

considering reforms is not the same as me demanding they turn in their rights.
learn to read, and stop being dishonest, it's gross.
or maybe you're purposefully misinterpreting what i say?
that's really gross too.

Just because you don’t have an answer on how you would “reform” family reunification without taking a right doesn’t mean that I am trying to misrepresent what you said. Btw I am still anxiousy waiting on that answer on the other thread.

Fact is that you cannot make it changes that negatively impact the current LEGAL system of family reunification without taking away rights of US citizens.

no, i'm pretty sure for an entire thread, and now in this one too, you've been misinterpreting what i said countless times.
you're still fucking doing it.
either you're barely literate, or just want to keep defending something you don't actually understand 100%, even though you've been told what the problem is.
you don't have to take away a "right" to make some changes, do you not understand that?
now i'll ask you, because you're adamant about this position, and i doubt you'll answer.
do you think that capable, functioning adults living in another country are more deserving of not just coming to this country, but being HANDED a green card, over DACA people that are fully assimilated, and ONLY know this country?

Doesn't Matter if we came to this country at no fault of our own at the end of the day we're still illegals and chain migrated individuals are legal no matter what their skills are.. BTW I'm curious what changes would you make without changing USC rights?

I know you keep resorting to personal attacks, that’s just low and typical of someone that doesn’t have a counter argument.. I’ll let it slide as I do not wish to stoop down to that level.

A US citizen is either allowed OR NOT allowed to sponsor their parents/siblings. Those are the only choices available, how would you change those without taking away the right?

You also keep trying to pivot to a us vs them. The argument should have NOTHING to do with “functioning adults living in another country” THEY like us, have no rights in this country. It is the US citizens rights that matter, they are the ones LEGALLY sponsoring THEIR immediate relatives. The US government could give two shits about a foreigners rights, but they protect their citizens rights to being able to sponsor a parent/sibling.

of course you deflect and don't answer the question, because you know your answer would be hypocritical.
the world is not black or white, there's more than two options in almost every situation.
your kind of thinking is why we still don't have a solution.
this conversation is done, you keep on pretending like i didn't just explain to you multiple fucking times that the issue isn't with a USC sponsoring immediate parents or siblings, it's what happens afterwards that's the problem.
read a book or two.

you could put a limit on how many people you accept by way of sponsoring a year, for starters.
that's more into what lawmakers decide, but it doesn't hurt to have a dialogue about it.
