This Court has authority to immediately rescind and cancel all DACA permits currently in existence because they are unlawful,” the states argue in the lawsuit. But they would agree to a solution, they said, that blocked the administration from issuing or renewing DACA permits, “effectively phasing out the program within two years.”

I can’t believe this Hispanic Judge screwed us and threw us to Judge Hannen .

Today's news out of Texas DOES NOT change the two court orders, via California and New York, allowing existing #DACA recipients to renew their protected status.

In fact, even a later ruling by a judge in Texas on this new lawsuit can't change the rulings from CA & NY. 2/

July 31 pre-trial hearing for Paxton lawsuit ?

We need a sticky for that date in order to keep track of any changes so as to maximize how late we can submit renewals while minimizing any risks.

At the end of the day, this will end up in the Supreme Court. If you haven’t sent you’re renewal in, I suggest you should now.Paxton will not win this lawsuit, believe that. DACA is indeed constitutional.

I had this journey in 2014 so best of luck. At least you guys have a liberal judge now and already have DACA so it's hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube.

Let’s take sometime to remember that Kobach sued against DACA on behalf of ICE and lost. This is just a cover up for Paxton for other issues he is facing in court.
