I'm sure this question must've been asked and answered about a thousand times, but I just want to know if you can use the I-821D form that is currently on the USCIS website. The expiration date at the top right corner says it expired on June 30th of this year :/

Is there a new form I'm not aware of?

If it's on the USCIS website, it's the most current version. The expiration date is merely an internal version control, not so much that it cannot be used after that date.

[quote=SRafaela;582666]Thank you! How is it going for you?

Still under production, but I was approved two days after you so maybe it will be ready this week?

Thanks, that's what I figured.

Has anyone that did their bio in July been approved?
My EAD expires on 10/26/16 and I received a letter from HR on Friday saying I need to produce my EAD or risk being let go.
I did my bio on 7/14 and my status says Bio has been scheduled even though I did it already.

I am seriously freaking out because I have a job I love and now I am at risk of losing it.
I need this job to pay my bills and keep a roof over my head.

Does anyone have any advise on what I should do?

Hello All,

This is my first time posting on this forum, and like many others I am not feeling too down knowing that there are many others out there who are experiencing the exact same thing. It has helped the panic subside. I have been following this thread since about a month. Sadly, my EAD has also expired, and I am feeling like I am being subjected to play an unwanted waiting game with no ending in sight. A month before my EAD expired my lawyer submitted a case inquiry to which they said that it was in line to be reviewed. A month passed by and I called USCIS to get more information and let them know that I was approaching my expiration date and they said they would send a service request to hurry the process along. Friday, my lawyer submitted another service request. This by far has been the most stressful process. This is my 3rd renewal and the last two had been approved in 3 months time, but geez! I am beyond furious that USCIS can get away with "We are sorry for the inconvenience" or "Please expect delays" meanwhile thousands of people are left scrambling trying to figure out what they are going to do next.

Well this is the end of my rant :/

I have lost my job. My boss suggested we keep mum about the EAD expiring however my lawyer advised me not too. Knowingly working with an expired EAD will trigger removal from the country, and it is just not worth it. Just passing on the legal advice. He is an accredited immigration lawyer by the way.

This is my time line

App received: 5/26/2016
Biometrics Appointment: 8/03/16
EAD expired: 10/08/16
DACA/EAD Approval?

I have a similar timeline as others who have recently posted. This thread helped me keep peace on my last renewal process which flowed through smoothly. This is my second renewal and it has been the most stressful!

I'm in a similar situation where HR has told me I must produce my renewed EAD - I have a job that i love and have killed myself for to be in the position that I am.

All we can do is wait -

Timeline:

Notice: 7/8/16
Bio : 7/26/16 Walk in
Approval: ----
Expires: 11/13/16

Hello,
I have been keeping up with this thread for a few weeks now. And I am officially a new member now (:

I am really stressed out with the renewal process. This is my second renewal. I applied 6/28/2016 and my EAD expired 09/16/2016
I started a new job in August and I have been patiently waiting for my new card since the HR team at the hospital is very strict. They gave me two extra weeks from today to bring in the physical card, or I will be fired. I worked so hard to work at this hospital. They understand it is out of my control and I have done everything I could do. It's really unfair, and not to mention embarrassing. i really don;t think I will get my card within two weeks. My bio was done 9/19/2016.
I see that some users from the beginning of May are just now getting approved. It is really upsetting.
I am married to a natural born citizen. Our I130 petition has been approved. however, our lawyer has not answered any of our emails or calls. we have already payed him the total too. We are just gonna show up at his office this week and hopefully get some help. He was so helpful up until a month ago. I hope that ends well. I'm sure you guys could imagine the frustration we are both going through. And, me especially. I look at my husband and he just has such worried eyes. I hate thinking it and saying it, I feel completely responsible for all this mess. He shouldn't be going through all this stress with me, I feel so mad he has to go through this.

i really just wanted to vent on my current situation.
