I agree. Let people hire an attorney if they want to, if some of you considered it a rip off than ok that is your opinion some people are more comfortable using an attorney.

Amen. In my opinion, people should consult a lawyer at one point or another. My wife and I went to see a lawyer before she applied for DACA. Our first consultation was free ($50 value) and they guided us in the right direction. Between application fees and lawyer fees, we ended up spending about $5,000 for DACA, Advanced Parole and her green card. It might seem like a lot, but as I stated in another post, the peace of mind you get afterwards is priceless.

Unnecessary. All you need to good reading comprehension and good attention to detail. The $465 is unavoidable unless you can get the fee waiver.

Im just lol'ing on all your posts.

Paid the 465, 15 for passport pictures, 15 for express mail, 5 on a divider folder to keep stuff in order, about 40 in black printer ink, 5 for paper, 6 for a completed copy, 10~ in gas, 1 day off work, 5 days off school, a mother and father yelling at you for approx. 2 months.

Having the peace of mind and a license: Priceless.

for everything else, there is *Visa (I dont have mastercards :P)

$465 + $20 fee to help fill and translate some of my stuff.

I didn't go to a lawyer it was a Tax place that my parents have always gone to when they file their taxes. They helped me fill the application and organize my evidence, then they just handed me the package for me to mail it.
