How many would be intelligent enough to pass the Citizenship test after they become eligible?!

How many would sit on a GC for the rest of their lives because they wouldn't pass the test?

Please post your answers

Pretty much every single DACA would likely pass the exam within 5 tries (accounting for the lowest), because we've all grown inside the US and went to US schools our entire lives. Never sit on a GC, and in my opinion they should revoke the GC from people who don't learn the language AND pass the exam within 10 years. It shouldn't be a status you can sit in your life, but a road to naturalization.

As someone learning a much much harder language, I think the English language is easy and even the idioms can be learned with flash cards. Its all Latin Alphabet too.

Finally, they should only grant GC to people that know the language to the High School level possibly the equivalent of a year or two of study. Not an insane proposition, you can still speak your native language happily as a clam.

I think all of this situation is funny, ironic even.

A lot of Dreamers came here as babies will need divine intervention to get a GC.

Meanwhile , plenty of uneducated human turds sit around on GCs forevermore without a lick of English skills.

Hell, Boricuas walk in with U.S Citizenships and a good chunk of them don't even speak a rat's ass of English.

This country is hilarious.

i'll pass that sht first try all perfect responses without studying just like my license tests for car and motorcycle.

either way smells like we are skipping the green card and straight to citizenship.

I think this place is a land of contradictions but ultimately the world isn't fair. I think I could've done quite well in the armed forces had they given me a shot at OCS.

Still, all this could've been avoided had treacherous operatives in our country, i.e. the Russian 5th column, hadn't decided to suddenly backstab farm workers and other undocumented. They stuff their gullets full of food generated with undocumented labor then turn around and cowardly backstab. Therefore, I'd rather they cut benefits and entitlements. Go on musk, cut them benies. Time to get a job. I deserve a big tax cut, I'm paying $20k+ in taxes.

I could do so much with that money. Start businesses, buy houses to rent them out. Etc. I'm not a villain so id eventually start building mixed use developments with shops and grocery stores on the lower level and walkable neighborhoods. With places to bike and even motorcycle around in. Places that truly shine and are a pleasure to live in. Actual communities. Places that exist only in my mind and represent the idealized America that was promised. Not boring mind dulling suburbia with nothing to do and nothing going on. Suburbia, strip malls, parking lots, and wide roadways, that's all the country looks like coast to coast.

Instead I'm forced to subsidize the unsuccessful. If you help out the unsuccessful what incentive will there be to study hard and work hard? Personal responsibility is important.

Yeah, I’d pass it. The questions aren’t that hard once you go through them a few times. It’s mostly stuff like U.S. history, civics, and knowing a few names in government, nothing wild. I’d definitely go for the citizenship if I were eligible. Wouldn’t want to sit on a green card forever if I had the option
