DACA to AOS - Page 10

Congratulations on taking the next step guys. I sent my AOS 4/20 and had my interview and approved on 8/4. Self filed. One of the happiest days of my life!!! Good luck to all!!!

When i went with my interview I took copies of the application i submitted and copies of all the documents I initially provided them with. I also took in our cars pink slips, insurance cards (which he kept) and about 250 pictures we have taken in our 8 years together. The only question he asked us was about my arrest and the reason why, and why my wife's DL address was different from mine. Aside from that the room was an awkward silence. Whole process took about an hour but that is because he looked at every single picture we brought in and then looked at me and her to make sure it was the same people.

Congrats! What was the arrest for, if you don't mind me asking?

Yay!!!! Congrats!!!!!! Can't wait till I get my green card too!

It was for a failure to appear from when I was a minor.

Did you send your AOS on 4/20 or 2/20? Congrats by the way.

My mistake 2/20 just under 6 months. And I just got update from post office that my card was delivered so I should have it once I get home from work!!

My case status changed online (case for I-485, no changes on the I-765 yet). It says its ready to be scheduled for an interview. Today is day 49 from the date of submission, so I guess that's good. I have not received the actual notice yet, so will see how it goes and will let yall know when I receive the notice.
