I know exactly how you feel…I have been avoiding school because I am tire of my classmates and advisor asking me about my plans after college. School use make happy and now it has the complete opposite effect. Every time I came back from class or lab, I became extremely depressed.
Focus on the main goal and do not let other people deviate from your goal (easier said than done), and connect to other people in your school that in the same situation. That has helped me a lot. My best friend is also undocumented, and through out the years we have supported each other morally. I am sure your college has an active Dream Act Club…reach out to them…and whatever happens do not quit school.

Pretty good advice everyone is giving.

Herpinderpin..I read your post, and all I could think was, omg, where was this when I needed it? I've just come to the realization that things don't have to be as difficult as we make them. You pointed out some pretty good examples.

As Oprah once said..If she could go back and tell her younger self something, it would be "that things were gonna be ok".

The road to happiness is the hardest part.. But years down the road, things will get much easier. ; )

all the time.

I used to be on all medications you can think of, but that shit was wack. I also turned to drugs but that in the end made me feel worse. I started exercising and not hanging out with the people i called "friends" and im starting to feel better nowadays even though the situation we are in is pretty difficult.

I would like to thank everyone for sharing their experiences and their knowledge on the subject.

I suppose if I want to get better I need to make a major effort to overcome this. I don't like being self-defeating. I want to be able to have friends, be outgoing, do the things I want to do without second guessing myself, and just feel adequate.
