So, I figured out how to bypass the automated system!
After it asks you to choose English or Spanish and it goes on to explaining the automated system as soon as it lets you speak, say "technical support" and then choose the second option it says.

However, and this something I will post in a moment. Apparently USCIS is now NOT expediting DACA related cases (including the I-765). I was able to get a representative who didn't tell me that and so did my sister but my brother got two reps who told him the same time. They cannot expedite his case because of "new" USCIS guidelines in regards with DACA.

A few hours later, I received an email telling me my expedite request had been closed due to the same reasons told to my brother:

Since I couldn’t get through to someone a few times when I tried earlier. The last time I submitted an inquiry online and got an “answer” yesterday. The email says:

“The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is closely monitoring the expiration dates of current Form I-821D, Consideration for Deferred action for Childhood Arrivals, and Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization Document. We are working the renewals in the order of current card expirations. You must also have attended your biometrics appointment at the Application Support Center (ASC). “

So I guess they’re literally approving applications last minute.

Must have attended the biometrics appointment? I thought they were using previous ones cuz of Covid. They sent letters saying they wouldn’t be scheduling biometrics appointments cuz of Covid.

My husband got the same letter about biometric reuse, so we’re confused about why they responded like that.

What you said worked for us when we called. Thank you!! They supposedly sent a message to the Nebraska center. At first, the agent made it seem like it’s not outside of normal processing time. Hopefully we’ll hear back within 30 days.

Before my expide request, they were not expediting anything else. Not sure I understand your question though.

I managed to somehow expedite mine back in September, but I am in a peculiar situation due to VAWA, so my DACA was similarly handled by the VSC.

I contacted my congressman regarding both my VAWA and DACA, I got a response that was basically "It'll be done when it's done" for both, and then the next day my DACA was approved.
