My internship HR person asked me if I need sponsorship to legally work in the US now or in the future..
What am I supposed to say??
Should I say "no, I don't need sponsorship because I have work authorization card"???
What am I supposed to say..?
Also... One problem is the internship starts in January but my work permit expires in January 21st and I'm not sure when USCIS will approve my case so what would HR say about that??? would they reject me for that?
and If they did let me work until Jan 21st for internship and my case doesn't get approved till then...? will they let me wait until I get the new card???
Go with no, it really just depends on the job/career.
It's an intern position for energy company (one of fortune 500).
Should I also say I can renew it every 3 years?
Or should I just say No I do not need sponsorship because I have a work authorization card.
Also, what happens if I get the internship and my old EAD expires and my renewal doesn't get approved until later?? Do I have to leave the work? because if so, I don't think they will hire me....
