I am trying to determine if my reason for wanting to the leave the country is good enough when applying to the parolee travel permit. I want to put that I would like to bring my 5 & 6 year old kids to see my mother for the very first time. I have not seen her in 10 years. Does anyone know if wanting to see a long lost relative would be a good enough reason under the humanitarian category? Also, The time I am trying to go will be around the due date of my pregnant sisters first child. I'm hoping either reasons would be good enough. Thoughts, opinions and experiences with the travel permit application are welcomed. Thanks.
honeslty I dont think its a valid reason for the Dept of Homeland h... if you look up their website and form it explains there what the qualyfying reasons are. For example if your mother is sick... hmm you can take a course out there if you are in school or through your employemnt. Do research on your options. I was granted thr permit through a cultural program where aI will be learning another language. They granted my advance parole and my trip is schedule for Feb.
Good luck
