I have a couple of questions. I recently just got SSN and did my taxes with the new SSN. I read someone here that you can get your other half refund by amending. It this true? Do I have to amend my past taxes by changing my ITIN with my new SSN? Thanks!

You can try as long as you qualified for EIC those years and the only thing that you were missing was an SSN. Good luck!

So if a DACA beneficiary made less than 5000 this year, are you required to file your taxes?

It's actually beneficial for you to file even if you don't need to. This way you'll have extra proof of being here.

Was that self-employment income or income from a w2?

If it's coming from a w2 I suggest you go ahead and file since you might receive a refund. It's your money why let the gov keep it?

If you are detail-oriented and good with numbers, yes.
