As of March 9, 2018, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR-, is currently not assigned for processing.

It should have another update?

I got the same response after two previous ones saying that they had assigned my case to a Tier-1 officer. Two to three days after this latter response I got an answer to my SR. By the way, the response to my SR was incredibly vague and not helpful at all.

I guess all we can do is wait, wait and wait.

It does feel that way, but I'm certain you will get a response pretty soon, and hopefully it will be a helpful response.

My lawyer did a phone SR as well with Tier 2. Some gets approved really fast. I've seen people get EAD in 30 days after Biometrics are done probably because of the financial hardship it would cause if they don't work.

Yeah, my previous ones were approved right after my biometrics. However, we are mostly assuming (guessing) that USCIS is using some sort of pattern for DACA approvals, because I can't go without a check and not having to borrow money to make ends meet (not proud of it, but it is my current situation) yet USCIS took its sweet time to approve my case. I even stopped working for a month due to expired EAD.
All in all, it seems like it depends on how fortunate we are in order to received our permits in a timely manner.

IIRC DAUser is currently waiting for his AOS (and associated EAD). He aged out from DACA.
