So I got into a school I wanted, they can issue me an I-20 for my loan and everything seems to be working out...BUT...
they admissions office told me that since they are issuing me an I-20 (they know I'm not going to get an F-1 visa but I'm just getting the document solely to borrow money), my record will be up for the immigration office to see.
I am assuming that's kind of a bad situation, since then it's probably going to give away that I'm an international student. Would I get deported or fined or anything for this? And would this jeopardize my chance of qualifying for the dream act? I'm so scared. I asked the school to issue an I-20, but I'm scared of the consequences.
