Hi all, I have been a long time lurker and this site has been very helpful so I wanted to share my story:

AOS (Via AP) Citizen Wife:
Submitted AOS: 6/29/16
BIOS: 7/15/16
RFE:8/13/16
RFE response sent: 8/18/16
EAD: 9/1/16
Waiting for the rest..

This might sound all good on paper but Believe me, I feel like I went trough hell: I almost lost my job (won't go into details). I have a degree in Criminology and Law and I did all I could to expedite my EAD. If you have an AOS pending do yourself a favor and expedite it! I sent a bunch of letter to USCIS and all got denied but a couple of days after contacting my Congressman my card got approved. You can try to expedite AOS based on financial hardship but you can't expedite DACA EAD. I didn't even bother to apply to DACA because of all the issues that I were happening.

Honestly I see a lot of Dreamers that aren't researching what they can do. This page helps but we all the internet and our intellectual minds to make rational and smart decisions. I urge everyone to apply for AOS as soon as you can (Via AP or other means). We do not know how this election will turn out but I feel a blood bath boiling and you never ever ever ever want to be at the bottom of the food chain! Make this the last time you ever have to apply to DACA!

Like I mentioned, I first sent letters to USCIS but they denied my expedite request (you first need to call a tier 1 to start the process). After they got denied I went to my congressman office and they helped me expedite it. Look for your local congressman (should be listed online if you put your zip code). Call your local congressman office, fill the casework page they will give you, and take all your information. You should do all of the above..call UCIS and tell then you have an AOS and you would like to expedite. At the same time go to your congressman and let theme help you expedite. I literally got my AOS EAD card 2 days before my DACA EAD expired..

Now, I'm able to see my first case number but when I look up the other numbers they still don't show up. I really hope they send me my EAD combo card soon since my Daca is delayed
What's your field office?

My field office is Sacramento, CA

So I called USCIS and they told me that they are unable to do anything with my i765 from AOS as its not showing up on their system. They said it can take up to 0-45 days... The only number that shows up is my i485... so they told me to call again once it appears online
