Hmmm....I thought permanent residency (10 year) was predicated on the 2 year anniversary of a marriage at the time of interview? Unless I am mistaken.

Idk? What I've read is that if you have been married less than 2yrs than you get the 2yr conditional green card, but if you've been married for atleast 2 yrs and above then you can get the 10yr green card. I know I will get the 2 yr conditional green card because I've only been married for 9 months.

Osito is correct. You will receive a 10 year Green Card and will be eligible for citizenship very soon.

What documents are usually asked for at the interview based on marriage? I'm trying to prepare everything, I don't like to wait last minute.

I found this statistic interesting. Over 5000 DACA applicants have applied for permanent residency so far, and over half have been approved.For the purpose of documentation, you don't prepare documents for the interview...but for the application. You must prove the relationship is bona fide. I believe the following links might explain better.

second anniversary of getting the conditional residency not second year of marriage. so if you're married for 1 year and 11 months when you get AOS, you'll get 2 year conditional card. You can apply to get conditions removed at 3 months before 2 year anniversary of being granted card (so 3 years 8 months of being married).

It can be beneficial to just wait to AOS if you're close to the two year mark and are covered by DACA during that time. I've only been married for a year and 4 months but my DACA expired in september so might as well AOS now and do the removal of conditions in two years.

You send copies of everything for the application, but bring in the originals (and more copies) during the interview. I brought a bunch of pictures, his and my original birth certificates, and marriage certificate. The officer also asked for any extra proof or new proof that wasn't submitted - like we bought a car in between the time we sent the application and our interview so we included a copy of those documents. They may retain the copies of things like leases, titles, bills, retirement/bank statements, so make sure to bring copies of those. She also took some of my pictures.
