If you speak with USCIS and find out what date they are working on please post. So we have an idea.

It is very random and inconsistent way they are approving people.

I'm going to turn 20 tomorrow and my DACA is still pending. Yay what a great way to start my 20's.

People who got approved recently did you guys get it for 2 years or 3 years?

I read in another post here that recently approved got it for 2 years and another one that got it for 3.... let us know when you get yours

I've asked them about that and they didn't really say what date they're working on. The processing time that they posted online is roughly the date that they are on. I know I'm getting frustrated also. I asked them to expedite my case but they said no because it was a "first come, first serve basis". Which is bull because my brother sent his in on
11/19 and I've seen some people who sent theirs in on December and they're already approved. This is so frustrating! My brother can't work and he can't renew his license.

So here is an update on my approval. I received my new work permit card 10 days after it got approved. BUT MY WORK PERMIT IS ONLY FOR 2 YEARS. ALSO WHEN I WENT TO GO RENEW MY DL THEY DIDN'T GIVE IT TO ME. THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO WAIT FOR AN APPROVAL/ VERIFICATION LETTER. IT TAKES 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR IT TO COME IN. I'M IN TEXAS NOT SURE IF IT'S THE SAME FOR ALL THE STATES.

When you call USCIS and talk to customer service, do you just ask for a level 2 person or how does that work? I called yesterday and the guy that answered seemed like he hated his life and wasn't very helpful.

Yes, when you call just ask to speak with a level 2 rep. and then they wil transfer you.. for me I left my name and number and they called me back an hour later! good luck

2 days ago i requested to expedite my case, they told me to wait 5 days for an answer on that....

They changed it back to 2 years unfortunately. People who renewed way earlier like last year have gotten 2 years. For us, who haven't gotten it yet will be 2 years. I wonder if it's taking long because of the changes?
