Mine was bad.

It doesn't mean yours will. I had a particar issue which caused the problem which was unrelated to my marriage legitimacy.

The key is to be calm. Just answer the questions with confidence. Also give clear concise answers. It will avoid any further questions. That's why is best to relax and be confident.

Good luck!

Maybe it's just how they format the date in her home country? Some places will put 30-01-2020 instead of 01-30-2020 for example.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it’s written out... so my moms last entry to USA was Jan 2001. So it’s written ene 2001 but there’s a stamp from her country on another page it says feb 2001. It’s making me panic. She came legally just overstayed. I worry they think she left and came back another way. Which she didn’t cause my brother and I came later that year with my dad.

Yep. Just submitted my application 2 weeks ago.
Thanks,

I did not get too excited. I think had what we needed since 3012 to succeed. I have enjoyed discovering places all over the U. S.

Hopefully I can do things to help others. I have two daca brothers as well.

All doing well

You'll be eligible to become a voting citizen in 3 years; you can help through your vote in support of immigration reform and against the Republican scum that has supported Trump and his racist agenda.

Yep, through marriage. Were you 245(i) as well? Did you self-file or use a lawyer?

Yes, I had Labor Certification on or before 4/30/01. Mother USC sponsor. Through a lawyer (worth every penny).

Hey guys,

I had my AOS interview yesterday. Approved that same day, getting the notification about 6 hours after the interview.

7:30 AM interview, we were the first ones to be interviewed that day. Went through, checked in at the front desk, they took my picture and fingerprints then I was told to have a seat and wait to be called, waited about 15-20 minutes before getting called. My wife and I were escorted into the agent's office, sworn in and the interview started. Agent started by asking me how and when I entered the country. Also if I have ever left the country, which I have three times with AP, so I answered yes and the agent asked me why I left the country (visiting sick grandfather). Agent then asked me how my wife and I met, during the whole the interview I noticed the agent looking straight at my eyes and then looking at my bottom lip, I quickly realized that the agent might be using a lie detecting technique. Agent was nice but serious, not to the point were we felt intimidated. Agent asked us who cooked, asked to see some pictures, any evidence that has my wife's and my name on the same document. I also noticed that the agent was not just asking random questions, most questions I felt that the agent already knew the answers to. Overall the whole interview was easy and took about 30 minutes. At the end the agent told me that I will get an answer in the mail between 30-45 days but got approved that same afternoon.

Thank everybody in this forum that has help me answer any questions I've ever had. AOS process took about 9-10 months from the acceptance of AOS application to AOS interview.

BTW, I never used a lawyer for either my DACA or AOS applications, everything was done on my own using this forum and Reddit.
