demise, does having an i-130 approved increases your chance of MTR being granted?

Yes. Generally they will agree to review the case since you have some avenue now that wasn't available previously. I was able to get an MTR and later an administrative closure because I had an I-130 pending.

We received the case number and invoice ID number from the NVC about 6 days ago. When we try to enter them on the website to pay the visa fees, it comes up that it’s an invalid case number. Has anyone had this happen to them?

It might not be updated yet. Call them.

It finally got updated after I called them. Do I pay just the IV fee or the IV and affidavit of support? I’m filing the 601A.

Has anyone that received GC after having daca/being undocumented, crossed the border via port of entry? (canada or mx)

im delayed from getting a passport (over a year, colombia), so cannot travel via air

Yup, I've driven to Canada and back a few times. Had no issues at all.
