I've been married 3 years and gonna fix my papers soon.
Me too I've been married for 5 years and recently just had a baby, planning on adjusting as well. I held it out because I was thinking DACA would be fixed and to save money since I thought it will be cheaper than regular AOS but I guess DACA talks are just talks no action. Are you applying online? My husband wants to submit the paperwork online rather than mail. Also he wants to do it instead of hiring a lawyer

Cool cool. Congrats on the baby! Yeah, nothing's happening with DACA.

I've been just lazy to get this AOS started. I have an easy case. Tourist Visa overstay, no criminal offenses, been in the US for over 30 years without leaving, DACA since 2012, married for 3 years, been with my husband for over 10 years. Despite that and being pretty confident in doing the paperwork myself, I am going to hire a good attorney to do it for me. Just for peace of mind.

I did my application myself, similar situation. Attorneys wanted 5G and did not include the filing fees. Decided to do it myself. Everything was accepted without issues, and is in the status, of review. There is a forum on Facebook called;
I485 Status of Adjustment
Green Card through Marriage
Family Green Card Application (I-130, I-485, DS-260, I-864, ...)
it was extremely useful.

Hope this helps if you consider it.,

Thank you! Yours is like mine, I'm an overstay as well, been in the US for 22 years. I spoke with my friend who adjusted 2 years ago and she said she paid 6K altogether and told me she could have done the paperwork by herself since she was the one who submitted all the stuff to the lawyer, but like you she wants a peace of mind as well.

Did you do the application online? It's seems like a lot of people are not doing it and submitting their paperwork via mail. Is this a new thing?

I mailed my paper copy in via Fedex. I made a copy of the entire package and I kept the tracking and delivery confirmation. It was updated the next day of receipt and notices sent. I also included my medical, so I believe they have everything. Just waiting now...
FYI
For photos, I did 4 per page, and I made a little note at the bottom with date and occassion.

If this offers any encouragement at all, I am also a visitor's visa overstay who went through the DACA process, AOS Process, Removal of Conditions Combo interview and Citizenship process without ever consulting with a lawyer. No RFEs and had to reschedule my Combo interview because it was too close to my due date.

I found this forum and Visajourney very helpful.

My lawyer recommended mailing everything in.
