Probably there's a bit of a generational divide as well.

Older Millenials like myself remember very vividly of growing up and working/ going to college without DACA and any help from scholarships. We also remember all the broken promises and sheer incompetence of the Democrats in getting us a deal.

These young DACAs already hit 18 with DACA + scholarships out of the gate. Plus, they've been conditioned to see themselves as an oppressed group. All have been spoonfed all this UWD intersectionality/ legalize everyone crap all their lives so they're gonna waste the movement's political capital defending Pro-Hamas greencard protestors, TPS people, and transgender activists and forget about their own cause.

If we somehow don't get the Republicans on-board , we will never be legalized.
