Have a meeting next week with a group called cuty bar- it is a non profit group that supposedly does pro bono work, and had been doing U visa's for years.
This option wouldnt cost anything, opposed to the 45oo asked by other attorney also while she is confident it is a good case, she is more honest about time frame and constriants such as getting a TX judge to sign off as they may not have protocol in place or be extra conservative...also not saying 3-4 months for sure, says it cna be, but depends on facotrs such as the back up at office, how long ot sign off in tx, and how many are before. unlike the promise of 3-4 months from other attorney...
I think you should try more sources just in case before making a decision on just 2.Pro bonos are great don't get me wrong, but are they also lawyers not just paralegals or those who do immigration paperwork ?
Should anything go wrong w/ the paperwork it is always best to have a lawyer !
