Wow! That sounds too easy and good to be true...
I'm sure they won't say anything now, but hopefully it doesn't come up as an issue if there ever is a CIR! Basically, aren't you admitting to using fake social(s)?? Ahhh! I mean they already know we did it, but another thing is to admit it in their faces lol

Lol I worked for it. I'm telling you the truth no lie. Well at least for me it was to much money to let it go. Good luck to everyone. I will be a PR in 3 years and I wish the same for all of you. I look at my license and I just smile I waited a long time for this.

It doesn't scare me. You guys do whatever you think it's right. Coming here undocumented was a crime itself but look at us now. We started from the border now were here. Don't you guys think the SSA knows that we worked with a fake social. If they don't think we deserve that credit they wouldn't give it to us. It's like filing taxes.... the IRS knows your working with a fake social that's why you file taxes with an ITIN. My dad did this as well and he just became a PR last year without any problem.

Exactly... It's not like we're the first people ever doing this.

So looks like a few people did this with no problem. I'm wanting to do this too and was looking into this and was wondering if anyone has anymore info on this. This is what I found so far.

"This is from a memo distributed by SSA back in 2003...

UNAUTHORIZED WORK BY NONCITIZENS WITHOUT SSNs
SSA's practice allows noncitizens to work illegally in the U.S. economy for a number of
years, eventually acquire a valid SSN and have these earnings posted to their valid
SSNs, and then receive OASDI benefits as a result of those earnings. As noted earlier,
SSA does not consider the work-authorization status of the individual when they earned
the wages; it only considers whether the individual can prove he or she paid Federal
Insurance Contribution Act (FICA) taxes as part of this work.
For example, if the noncitizen was working in the United States illegally using an invalid
SSN for a number of years (that is, SSA never issued the SSN), SSA would place these
earnings into the ESF for later resolution. If this same noncitizen later receives a valid
SSN and becomes eligible to work, he or she can request that the earnings for prior
illegal work be reinstated from the ESF into his or her earnings record. We reviewed
SSA earnings reinstatement guidance to its teleservice center representatives and
found that this guidance provided no cautionary language related to the noncitizen’s
status when the wages were earned.17 This guidance allows the representative to
reinstate past wages if
1. the caller has a Wage and Tax Statement (Form W-2) in his or her possession;
2. the information on the W-2 matches the name and/or SSN in SSA's records;18
3. wages are found in the ESF; and
4. wages found in the ESF match the wages on the caller's W-2.
Once these earnings are recorded, the individuals may have sufficient quarters of
coverage to receive OASDI benefits."

Found that in another forum. Here is the full memo I found http://oig.ssa.gov/sites/default/fil...-03-23053.html

but that is from 2003 and in the forum where I found it, the person says "The requirements were tightened in 2004 a little, but the process is basically the same..."
So just wondering if anyone can somehow find a copy of the 2004 memo or look into it a little more as I cant find anything else on it. But since people here haven't had any problems, and with that memo looks like people don't have to be afraid to do it.
