Becuase they are stupid asses that use immigrants during election cycles for votes.

But let's not be cross-eyed idiots here implying MAGA is better for immigrats than the Democratic party. One is CLEARLY worse than the other.

Things would be way better off if Harris was voted in.

Get your head out of Diaper Don's orange asshole.

Y'all know they have been useless as much as the right-wingers.

Having said that, the beauty of this country is that you are free to reach out to ask! All congress people (I use the term here loosely) can be called and emailed to. I encourage you to ask yours in your state. Or in their social media.

Someone needs to FOIA immigration legislation negotiation docs from the Obama, Trump, and Biden admins to compare and publish the findings. I think Trump is likely to enact some legislation because business people understand that when you have an opportunity to take action, you do it, instead of waiting until the next election.

The Democrats lack of action, cowardice, and their insistence in listening to grifter consultants has put the immigrant population and citizen kids at risk of mass expulsion.

I think this mass expulsión will weaken the country so it's better overall for Latin America. You can't deny that overall latam comes out the clear winner. The US takes a massive loss of production, population that will take a long time to recover, and loss of expertise, and it won't go back to normal for a very long time. Then all the citizens that had a bad time with ice will remember this for a long time. How their government treated them. Because 80% of Latinos are citizens.

They say these expulsion will increase supply for homes. Yeah, if you want to live where the undocumented live. In low income neighborhoods with black people. These are not places your suburban and rural whites want to live. In Roach motel apartments, and while yes some do live in nice places having undocumented status makes it unlikely that you'll buy a house just to get kicked out. Nobody wants houses in undesirable places with low wage jobs. Which is why you see houses in WV go for $100k in the middle of nowhere.

They say that it'll increase the amount of jobs. Sure, if people weren't lazy and would go study. But they won't want to do these jobs at current wages now. Somehow the jobs just can't find anyone at any wage because people just don't want to work. Then the corporate side just doesn't like paying more for wages. Have to protect income for shareholders!

Overall its a big avoidable loss. Literally the scorpion on the undocumented frogs back.

I agree sowewhat. Thing is Supreme Court said businesses are like people, so if businesses can protect their economic interests, undocumented can do so as well. One does not need to be a citizen to own businesses or property.

I think many Dems and Reps need to be primaried and voted out of office. They do not serve in the interests of the country.

McConnell, Feinstein, Tillis, as an example, have or had neurodegenerative illnesses. They cannot legislate if they are congnitively disabled and memory impared! Wtf

There should be a limit on age for Congress. If they were not allowed to remain in office for this long, we would have had a solution. The future of millions of vulnerable people and immigrants are at the mercy of people who have high-likelihood of passing away of old age or infirmity at any moment.
