inb4 United We Dream begins with the "Legalization for All or nothing" bullsht.

that said, whoever introduced the amendment completely destroyed it by pretty much allowing ANYBODY that came in on the last 4 years qualify. when are these demonrats going to UNDERSTAND that the fix for DACA only NEEDS to be for DACA recipients EXCLUSIVELY and NOBODY ELSE.

This will not make it.. GOP is going to save daca for bigger immigration changes

580,000/11M people = 0.048 or .05% of undocumented would be legalized, not even all Dreamers.

It's not a serious solution.

This bill could be beneficial if it provides the undocumented community with a path to avoid deportation, or at least offers Dreamers the opportunity to obtain permanent residency (without citizenship).

I understand that the citizenship aspect may be a concern for Republicans, but many of us are seeking the opportunity to stay in the country, contribute to the economy, work, and travel without limitations.

Additionally, I believe that maintaining green card status could serve as a reminder to all politicians and immigrants that we must uphold good moral character to remain here.

Do I think this will happen? No, I believe that given the recent setback the Democratic party experienced, they may want to demonstrate that they are also strict on immigration. The immigrant community will most likely take the back seat to this.

This is probably the best we are going to get in this bill.
