Has anyone petition to the board in charge of the state grants for house bill students Aka undocumented ?? I lost my state grant due to not knowing that after your second year you have to complete 24 credits in order to renew it the following year ....I found out about this in the summer and I was a few credit s short.....I had no job so I planned to stay out of school in the mean time I was waiting on a work permit to pay for a whole year of school to get those 24 credits ....then I find out you start at zero credits every new year -__- to add I waited a whole year for the permit just to get denied ..... 3 years later I now have daca yett I now find out after not getting the grant for a year you lose it indefinitely ..,.I'm planning to petition to the board but I please ask if you have experienced anything similar please share I only have one shot /: ....,P.S . This mostly happened because the financial aid staff don't inform us on this and to add when your undocumented your too shy to ask I'm sure you can all relate ..
