Hi, I submitted in early March and my EAD will expire in 6 weeks/June
Getting nervous as I need to stay current to continue my employment (as a doctor).

Any way to try to expedite it?
Can being a healthcare worker help?

I could be mistaken but I don't think you can expedite since those services are no longer available. My advice is that if you do not get it in time, ask your employer for a FMLA leave of absence and contact your local representative for assistance.

Until you are passed the June due deadline, no department will be able to assist you with this request. Unfortunately you have to wait. In the meantime, prepare yourself with possibly taking an FMLA and finding out who your local rep is. Let's hope you get it in time though!
