I was planning on get advance parole to visit my sick grandmother after 13 years. Now this is my case when I was coming to the USA at age 14 I got caught by CBP they took me to some station and got my prints they release me to mx. I tried one more time and I made it to my destination. I apply for daca and got approved really quick I have never been in jail or anything. Do y'all think I will be allowed to get back in? Any constructive comments will be really apreciated.
I think that you'll be fine since you already received DACA and had your fingerprints taken. If it didn't show anything on your record, then you are cleared.
My wife had a similar situation as she was caught trying to enter the U.S. illegally. Our lawyer said that because she was under age, it was likely that she wasn't going to be in the system. She was fingerprinted by the FBI just to double check that she would clear for the DACA fingerprints. She came back with AP and then had to do fingerprints for AOS. Needless to say she was fingerprinted 4 times (3 with immigration) and never appeared in the system for when she was caught.
