Some of you mentioned if this would allow the approved dreamers travel outside the country, but what about across the country? I don't know if this is a dumb question but I am truly interested in knowing the answer to my question for I have (future) plans on applying for a internship on Microsoft (Seattle, WA)- I'm from Texas.

What is that about if they deny your case? You can't appeal, not to mention you are reffered to ICE which shouldn't do anything unless you commit a crime or did fraud in your case... If i understood that correctly. Ouch.. Still uneasy about that but this is good news overall...

Stay away from Puerto Rico and Guam for travel purposes if you don't have an approved Advanced parole or Green card.

Wait what about foreign passports? Would they require to see a foreign passport?

If I receive deferred action through this process, will I be able to travel outside the United States?
USCIS is exploring this issue and will resolve it in the coming weeks as part of its implementation plan.

I found this interesting..hopefully they allow us to travel outside the US once or twice in those 2 yrs of the permit.

I was let out by ICE in October under my own recognizance by Ice I had to show up to immigration several dates when they would tell me to, This is what the website said that those people would immediately get a work permit. To my understanding it means that I wont have to wait 60 days to apply for the work permit ? Is this what it means ?

"For individuals who are in removal proceedings and have already been identified as meeting the eligibility criteria as part of ICE’s case-by-case review, ICE will immediately begin to offer deferred action for a period of two years, subject to renewal."
