Accidents can happen anytime anywhere. Gotta be prepped and know exactly what to do.

My main mistake was didn't call 911 right away. I knew the area and went to the nearest police precinct. Still reported immediately but I think calling 911 and staying at the scene would've been better. If slightly.

Finally, adjuster from my insurance has called me.

Things will move forward.

Got the police report, it had the at fault driver's name and VIN

My insurance company looked up his insurance thru the VIN

Gave me the info. It was State Farm, heard it is not bad.

It was brand new 2025 Porsche. The driver had previous scuffles with the law and works at a private real estate firm. MF! Looks like real ahole from his linkedin.

Def pressing charges for Hit-and-Run!

When I log into State Farm to see the status of my claim, it gives me warning that documents must be signed by 11/20.

That document is "settle everything for $1500."
