Hi my name is Yadira and I was brought here when I was 8 years old from Mexico. Unfortunately I am still illegal here in the U.S. I want to pursue my a dream of becoming a professional make up artist. I want to enroll in a private makeup academy but am not sure if I need a social security number to enroll... And if I dont need one to enroll, what about when I graduate? Or if I wanna get certified by the state that I live in? Im not sure how this whole school thing works please help!! Thanks
The only kinds of jobs you can get while illegal aren't the ones anybody dreams about :/ But you should be able to enroll in most schools or programs as long as you can prove your identity - they'll accept birth certificates, passports, things like that.
