So anyone AOS from DACA w/o using the family route (parent/sibling and/or marriage)? If so, how?

It is impossible to swim those waters. Don't take my word for it, research it. My mother is from the Dominican Republic. While she didn't get out that way, my dad did. He always tells people he knows who are still in DR to not attempt to get out that way. It is too dangerous.

There are people who swam (sp?) and were not eaten by sharks when they were saved by the coast guard. This happen when their boat tipped over.

I took like 2 hours today to read all those stories. It is very sad how Puerto Ricans treat Dominicans.

It goes both ways honestly. It is sad because the cultures are so similar. We are all brothers. Should be treating each other as such. I wasn't born in DR but I lived there a few years before we moved here and it's a beautiful island, very similar to PR.

I wish. If I had an European passport I would not have spent a single day past the age of 18 with this Immigration crap hanging over my head most of my life. I was born in Venezuela.

Any updates on interview schedule? I'm still waiting for my interview date.

Still waiting for interview to be scheduled as well. Also no update on EAD/AP.

I received my "welcome to the United States" letter on Monday. Now I am waiting for my actual card.
