I heard the news about Trump granting a relieve for us Venezuelans and I want to know when can we apply for it. I don’t see anything on any website so far.

I can believe that after 20 years I’ll be able to get a license and a work permit this year!!! I just want those documents now so I can start searching for a better job!

And the best thing about if that a new democrat administration just started yesterday so at least I know we won’t get fucked over for a couple of years.

I missed out on DACA because I came here as 16 year old kid so you guys can imagine how I’m feeling right now. I hope the rest of my Latino brothers get something soon!!

Welcome bad hombre! It's a wild ride, but I am glad you are getting relief.

When DACA was executed, we had to wait about 1-2 months for implementation. I would give about the same timeline to your process, probably 1 month longer because it's a new incoming administration. However, once things settle in, Mayorkas should be able to come out with a good process. I believe you can probably start applying for this in May 2021.

We'll have to see what Biden does with the order. We won't really know until the DHS secretary is confirmed.

It was Venezuelan and Cubans who won trump Florida. I hope you don’t expect Biden to not undo trumps move

He already fired the White House chefs. While he remove the Muslim travel ban he also undo trumps move to allow travel from Brazil. So I wouldn’t be surprise if he undo this too

While not usually, seven Senate Democrats did file an ethics complaint concerning the actions of Cruz and Hawley in relation to Jan. 6th insurrection. It's a start.

I did read that Biden was planning on the DED for Venezuelans, but baby Trump did it right before he was about it leave. It will take some time, but I am sure Biden will let this one stand.

It was a power play to further secure florida. If Ivanka runs for senate in florida, they want to keep that that voting block Trump.

Little Marco and Scott and go kick rocks.

First and foremost...

Congratulations. The first few years after getting DACA were easily some of the best of my life because I finally had control and made quite some progress personally and financially since then.

I hope that you'll experience the same.

Second, USCIS is going to have a section on their website specifically for people in your situation. Won't happen until DHS publishes the rule in the federal registrar.

Sit tight, hopefully your group will be rolled into a DACA deal if that happens in the next 2 years.

If not, maneuver your life so that if you have to leave, you're leaving with money and the skills to support yourself.

God speed.
