So she is writing the letter right now without even knowing the LIN or case number.
She doesn't need to know the number. It can still be withdrawn by first and last name. If the i-130 does not exist...there is no relationship and no application to adjust.

Okay thank you. So a normal letter saying withdrawal of the i-130 should be enough ?

I withdrew AOS case two years ago and I beat myself up for it all the time. Take advantage of it.
Can you tell me how did you withdraw it? And why

We had issues with the relationship. She was finishing school and I was looking for jobs and we blamed it on the stress that caused. . Later we both came to our senses and realized that it wasn't that, and we weren't a match. Funny story, I came out as gay after and she is bi (which I knew about when we got together). . We sent a letter to uscis about a month before the interview and cited "irreconcilable differences". It wasn't too detailed. I got a confirmation that the case was withdrawn.
We had a very amicable separation and we are still friends. We divorced almost a year later.
We both regret not just getting through it.. I could've been close to getting my citizenship by now but instead I'm still on DACA.

Yes! A shame it didn't work out, a few more months and residency would have been possible.

I think you have to earn your way out of a marriage. Have you done that? Tried everything possible to make it work?. The first few months of marriage are very difficult.
