One way to get a job without SSN or work permit is to work with one of the Direct Selling companies (also known as Network Marketing). It's like owning your own business.

In most companies you just need a ITIN to sign up and become a representative. Many comapanies offer a really good compensation plan and depending on your skills and commitment you are able to earn some extra money working part-time, or full-time if you would like.

The only problem with this industry is that you really have to work hard in order to get to the top and you must be persistent. If you are looking to sing up with any of the Network Marketing companies just do a lot of research before you join because many of them are not as good as they tell you.

I just wanted to share this information with you.

I think if you look on craigslist or other classifieds you might find some odd jobs here and there (babysit one night, help clean up another, etc). I don't really know b/c I'm struggling with this as well, and I don't want to have to use a fake number.

Herbalife is one of the Network Marketing companies. It's not only in CA but all over the world. However, it is very hard to earn money with them because their pay plan is lucrative at all.

There are other companies on the market that are much better like Melaleuca and Monavie.

Most network marketing companies require you to put money up front by buying a starter's kit or something like that. So you have to have some money to start. What I suggest is for you guys to sell cable TV or something like that, there's always ads in craigslist for third party companies that do the direct selling for big corporations like AT&T and Verizon. You'll get paid comission only, but if you sell 4-8 products a week, which shouldn't be hard if you actually put the hours into it, it'll average around 10-20 dollars an hour, and if you're good, there's people that make at least $1,000 a week. I've seen checks for up to $2,500 for one week's worth.

You don't need papers to deal drugs. Not that I'm recommending, just throwing it out there.
