Congratulations! Did you get a conditional GC? Or the 10 year one?

Question for those of you who have EAD from your AOS case. How long after Biometrics did it take for you to receive the card?

It takes within 3 months from the day they received your case.

quick update:

i followed the advice here and scheduled an InfoPass appointment. my husband and i went last Friday. they gave me great news (i think):

they said that USCIS decided to skip my fingerprinting and that on December 7th, they mailed me a letter to appear for my initial interview on January 10th.

being me, i asked why they were skipping the fingerprinting and they told me that in some cases, when fingerprints have been taken somewhat recently, they just use that set of prints to run the background. i think the last time i got fingerprinted was when i renewed DACA in... 2015 i want to say. then i got my fingerprints taken again for graduate school applications in 2016, but i am not sure if this counts at all.

anyway. so the attendant told me that and he gave me a printout. on the USCIS website, it says the same thing--that they mailed me an interview notice on the 7th. i haven't gotten anything in the mail yet, but am hopeful to have something early this coming week.

has this happened to anyone else?

also, on the printout i got, it says "initial" interview--i thought there was only one? or is this just bureaucratese babble?

i am excited and a little bit nervous!

thanks for the advice to go to InfoPass!

----------------------------------------------

also: many congratulations to all those who already got their GC! woo hoo!

Very cool, seems you have some interesting New Year plans ahead. Thank you for the confirmation!

To answer your question...there can be two interviews. The initial interview is 100% likely while the second depends on the evidence associated with the I-751 removal of conditions. If the evidence is lacking over the course of your conditional status it raises flags making a second interview likely. It seems psuedo-random.
