So strange, it seems to be a hit and miss with USCIS procedure. There doesn't seem to be any consistency with not issuing bio-metrics if it has been done within 15 months.

If you place it on the application, they might require a waiver. A simple explanation would not be enough.

Yes, I-693 will be required for immunizations. A civil surgeon approved by USCIS is required.

You can save a ton of money here if your immunization shots are up-to-date and you have proof on your medical records. If you have the records call up each civil surgeon and asked about simply transcribing the record instead of just having the blood work. You will save a LOT!

This! My Immunizations as a kid were pretty complete and since I work at a hospital I'm required to keep my TB/flu shots up to date as well. I had records going back quite a bit. So I only paid $180 for my I-693. And that's that I had to go back in and do the new required test or else it would have been only $100.

Agreed. My mom managed to find my immunization records from when I was a kid and saved me tons of money. If you have a chance, find a place that gives you low price vaccines and make sure you get proof. I went to a USCIS Dr. that charged 220 for the physical but charged kind of a lot for some shots, even 30 for the flu shot. 65 for tetanus, not to mention I tested positive for TB so had to get an X-Ray to clear that up (I'm negative) which set me back an extra $100. Total spent 595.. look up the needed vaccinations to legitimately cut corners and save you a couple bucks.

I have a question. Hopefully someone can clarify. I called and spoke to a tier 2 to see if I could get my verification code to see any updates on my AOS apps on my ELIS account but they told me that for the i485 and i130 there is no access to updates on ELIS. Is this true? I was able to see my DACA updates on ELIS When i renewed but I want to be able to get updates on my AOS apps.

Hi all!

I have a question: Do you know if your Receipt Number (from the original notice that they received your application) changes when you get a biometrics/interview letter?

I am asking because I noticed mine are different. The last digit is different and depending on which I enter online, I get a different case status. If I enter the original number, it says they received the case. If I enter the new number from the copy I got at InfoPass, it says I am scheduled for an interview.

I have not received a letter in the mail yet so I am wondering if something is off. Any feedback?
