We have been let down many times, let's see if they can manage have some commonsense and pass it...
I have seen some of the rumored provisions on the rough draft and they make sense.

had to be in the US since 2018

Several GOP senators threw cold water on the idea of a last-minute immigration deal — some saying they simply have not seen any details of the purported Tillis-Sinema pact.

"I think until the Biden administration owns up to its responsibilities on the border, it's not possible to pass a immigration deal," said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), a close ally of GOP leader Mitch McConnell. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said that Republican support for any deal would be there "only if the border is secure."

Other senators said they were not privy to the details. Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) said that he has not seen a "final deal," emphasizing the short time left before the new Congress begins. Sens. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), and Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) also said they have not seen a deal.

All we know is that the omnibus must pass by 12/16 or sooner but the Dems might extend it for an extra week to 12/23, and the plan is to attach whatever bill to the omnibus. The gop is considering not even voting for the omnibus until next year when they take the house, so this whole thing is a loooong shot
Skip all the drama and add a codified version of daca for $25 billion for border security to the year-end bill. We all know that is where this is going.. if it goes anywhere. 2M is a very big ask in this political climate

Sinema/thillis are full of sh!t about getting 10 repubs on board, no one even know about it, I doubt the bill will even get a vote for consideration

Tillis throwing the towel already

“If we’re not able to reach agreement on some of the more stringent border security issues this week, then it's difficult to see how we can get it done.”

Hahahaha... Did you mean entitled???

It does not matter how long you have been waiting but the reality of the situation is that giving legal status to 2 million is a non-starter for most GOP.

Someone is triggered and it's sad to see. But the good news is, you actually spelled and used entitled correctly this time. No need to thank me for the lesson.

FYI.. your opinion matters as much as my own.
