I think you can apply for a date range. I'm going to apply for multiple entries within a 4 months period for work reason.

omg!!! I cannot believe I get to say this words MY 601A waiver just got approved!!!

NVC received my response for RFE 4/30/2021 (case application initially received 11/25/2019) and today, just a few minutes ago I checked my case (as I do 3-5 times a day), and it has been updated to approved. I am so excited and grateful. I know there is still a long way to go, as it seem for Guatemala's us consulate, the wait period for an interview went from a few weeks to 1 year now due to covid and this office being closed.
Im a bit unclear as to the next steps after here, specially since my visa/green card petition is employment based (I-140) most information I have found here in I-130 related. I will be posting questions here and updates. Good luck to all of those waiting.

@MIdreamer @trac3rt @nydreamer @demise

Any advise on next steps are greatly appreciated. I will ask my company's lawyer, but they always take a few days to reply. Just wonder if the next step I can do or do I have to wait for them.

Step 3: Pay Fees
The first thing you need to do after receiving your NVC Welcome Letter is pay your processing fees. There are two processing fees:

Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee
Affidavit of Support Fee. A small number of cases do not required payment of this fee. Please review our FAQ on the topic to find out if you are not required to pay this fee.
You will need a bank routing number and a checking or savings account number from a U.S. based bank.

To pay your fee, log into your case in CEAC and click the ‘PAY NOW’ button under Affidavit of Support Fee or IV Fee on your summary page

AMAZING! Congratulations @deiguer, so happy for you!

Those "Step 3" details you posted were part of the 601a process already. They do not accept your case without the fee receipts, which your lawyer likely included.

I think the next step is to actually complete the visa DS-260 application, which is also on that CEAC website. Your lawyer will likely complete it for you. I've heard that it's a good idea to complete that while you wait for 601a approval, so that you can already have your visa interview scheduled ahead of time. I am planning on doing that once my 601a hits 8 months of waiting.

So i let the company lawyer know about my 601A approval and asked for adivse, this is all he replied not helpful, i think i will have to get another lawyer on the side to guide me. I feel a bit lost about the exact steps after here.

"Hi ,
This is great news! The State Department will now move this case over to the US Department of State. This should take a few months and we will circle back as soon as we hear back.
"

You don't need to wait to hear back from the State Department. You already have the approved 601A, just go ahead and move on to the next step: login to the NVC wbsite and fill out the DS-260 online application.

Good luck!

Fyi the welcome packet was sent after approval of your 140 petition. Before filing 601a, you were required to pay the visa fee therefore you would have the welcome packet and case number already. NVC did not send it to you? Probably your lawyer has it since they handle your case.

What you need to do now is continue the nvc requirements. You can call NVC for your case number. I wonder why your lawyer did not give it to you? The USCIS will just inform NVC of your 601a approval.

Exactly. If they didn't send you the case number, then the lawyer has it. Call the lawyer and tell him you're ready for the next step.

You can also call the NVC and they'll give you the Case #.

@justgreened @Tracert This is a bit confusing, 2 weeks ago I went and paid a private lawyer to make sure that the bit of information i recieved from (to wait a few months from USCIS to send my case to NVC after 601A approval). He cofirmed, what they said, that we need to wait and that it could even take up to 1 year now for USCIS to send to NVC .
@Demise any light on this.

Can I call somewhere USCIS or NVC to find out more information.

Call NVC, give them the USCIS case number and see what they say. If you get answer "We got it but we haven't processed it yet" then wait. If you get an answer that they didn't get it yet, call USCIS and see what they say regarding the hold up.

If your lawyer fucked up and checked that you'll apply for AOS then you'll have to file I-824 to forward the case to the NVC.
