Yes, they will be considered significant misdemeanors. So a single DUI will disqualify you.

Made this a sticky since it's the most comprehensive list we've seen so far.

I plan on getting a lawyer but for now can anyone shed some light on EWIs. I came to the US in 1999 through Brownsville, TX. We crossed the river and turned ourselves to the border patrol they gave us permits for a few months so I'm not sure if I'm EWI. I was 11 at that time.

If the applicant had any absence from the U.S. during the relevant period, be prepared to show that it was “brief, casual, and innocent,” which is a temporary trip abroad required by emergency or extenuating circumstances outside the applicant’s control. Such an absence can be supported by documentary evidence including the following
Crazy situation. If any dreamer can go back to their home country, the only possibility is those from Mexico and even so you would have to pay XYZ amount to travel there and come back.
If you are in school you already proved your month-to-month residency.

It seems you're an EWI because you entered without inspection, even if you turned yourself in later.

Affidavits from individuals who know the applicant and who can attest to the applicant’s
residence in the U.S. The individual making the affidavit must state his/her name,
address, how he/she knows the applicant, how long he/she has known the applicant,
and how he/she knows about the applicant’s continued residence in the United States
since the date of entry, or for periods relevant to the 5 year window, or both. The
affidavit does not need to be in a particular format, and can take the form of a letter,
but should be signed before a notary public (which can be obtained at a law office or at
your local bank). Do not allow notaries to give you immigration legal advice!!!
Am I right to assume this Affidavits will have more weight depending on the person? E.G. a teacher making the letter compared to friends or family members.

If we graduated a few years ago, I guess we just need the HS diploma as proof?

I plan on using my passport with the visa on it; middle school, high school and college records.
