Just wanted to share my sister's experience, hoping it helps someone else. Her husband is a reservist. She didnt apply for DACA. she is ewi... Her attorney applied for parole in place... and was given parole for one year. Now she's applying for status without fear of having to go to Juarez.
If you know someone in the military with undocumented parents/spouses/brothers this may help them too. Her parole in place took like a month to be approved after biometrics.
First off thanks for sharing about your sister's story.
I wanted to ask now that she has been approved for parole-in-place, will she be able to apply for a green card without leaving the country? Is there a faster process of getting her green card for parole-in-place applicants? Or will her husband have to sponsor her normally and have to be on the waiting list? Thanks!
