Are there any border patrol checkpoints between Los Angeles and Las Vegas?

I was wondering if there are any border patrol checkpoints on the road between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Thanks.

there is a checkpoint on your way back from vegas. you only get stopped if you look suspicious, otherwise you just go through a toll booth type thing. i never saw anyone get stopped.

That checkpoint mentioned above is NOT an immigration checkpoint, it is an agricultural checkpoint to check if you're sneaking food/plants/etc from state to state.

They rarely stop anyone and they will not question your immigration status. I've gone to and from Las Vegas many MANY times during the last few years and there is no checkpoint. I take the 10 East to the 15 North all the way.

What about from LA to Chula Vista or Hemmett in Cali??

No checkpoints from LA to Hemet i used to live in that area. Simply take the 10 east to 79 south. Now Chula Vista is further south near San Diego. You might find a checkpoint coming back in San Clemente, i have heard that they arent there all the time but i wouldnt risk it.
