I know you're disappointed but you must understand this wasn't meant to be from the start. A handful here have always been pessimistic and there was a reason for it.

Reid said he DREAM will be back by the end of November. That gives us some time. It's uncertain how much because it could be back on Monday.

No amount of praying and wishing well succeeded in getting it attached to the DoD. We have to get ready for this next try. We weren't ready for this one. People were NOT calling.

It is imperative that we all call, starting tonight to continue the support. We can't outdo the opposition in sheer numbers (though we should) so we need to do it by persistence. We need 100 votes so by the time they get into full gear it won't fall below 60. They'll stop their campaign and move to other things that children preoccupy themselves with. We will not.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill....

Quote:
We shall go to the end...whatever the cost may be...we shall never surrender.
DREAM is not an amnesty. If it were an amnesty we wouldn't have to do anything. We need to fight for it even more. That goes for established members and new ones. Freedom is not free.

You are right.

Enough with the whining and bitching (me included).

Keep on truckin' people.

I agree with you! Sooner or later, it has to pass. We might have to wait a little bit longer, but it will be worth it in the end. We can't let up now.

I agree,
Guys every year 65,000 students graduate form our nations high school, we need to spread the word, lets get them in this forum making calls for there future. One of the largest advantage that we have against ALIPAC is our strength in numbers, just think, if every single undocumented student, was to make 20 calls, a day to congress that would be about 1,625,000 calls that would be flooding the phone lines in congress, lets regroup, and fine organizations and television networks that are willing to help us, and lets get everyone on our side, we can beat ALIPAC, but we need to be better organized, I called every day, I was not in the forum but I took my call list, and called in between classes, These are just some thoughts I'm very discouraged but theres is nothing we can do right now to change that, lets keep our heads up and keep fighting, Lets not give the pleasure to the ALIPAC spy that lurks in this forum, the pleasure of witnessing our, frustration, LETS KEEP DOING WHAT WE DO BEST

the dream act will not be attached to the DOD bill. Reid said he will try to get it to come up before they leave for break in November. We're discouraged because we did all this work for DOD bill and didn't get anything.
