Alright im 18 years old proboly getting my ead this week and social if i go to the dmv how long till i get my licence

Did you get yours in florida?

I'm in SC and i read somewhere that i have to hold my permit for 6 months before being able to get a DL. It sucks if it's true.

Ive read of some ppl in florida getting it the first day they go i dunno how true that might be if only somone couldnconfirm this

If you're 18, in Florida, you can get your license that day as long as you pass the written and driving test. You would only have to wait if you were younger than 18.

So they will let me take the test and behind the wheel on the same day?

If your going for you license, FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, I would try to make an appointment for the nearest dmv just for your road test. Most dmv's you can just walk in to take your written test, but you have to have an APPOINTMENT for your behind the wheel test.

Trust me, I got lucky that I was able to find an appointment two weeks after my permit. The lady there told me they were pretty much booked up for June.
