(CNN)A federal judge on Friday again said the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program should be fully restored.

Judge John Bates said the Trump administration still has failed to justify its proposal to end DACA, the Obama-era program that has protected nearly 800,000 young undocumented immigrants brought to the US as children from deportation.

Bates agreed to delay his ruling for 20 days to give the administration time to respond and appeal, if it chooses.

This story is breaking and will be updated.

20 days? Didn’t they have over two months to come up with an argument?

they had like 3 months when the judge ordered it nearly 120 days ago.

this judge is being nice and giving them one last chance within 20 days to explain why daca should go away.

A federal judge on Friday said the government must restart the entire DACA deportation amnesty, including accepting brand new applications — but gave the administration a chance to appeal before his ruling takes effect.

The ruling by Judge John D. Bates is a major blow to President Trump, and creates even more confusion about his immigration policy.

Judge Bates said Mr. Trump and his Homeland Security Department do have the power to revoke the Obama-era DACA program, but they cut too many corners in the way they tried to do it.

He said the government needs to prove that it has considered the benefits to society of having illegal immigrants here and working, versus the government’s interest in enforcing the laws as written. He said Homeland Security failed to do that in its original revocation last September, and even after he gave it a chance to update its reasoning, it still failed to convince him.

“The court sees no reason to change its earlier determination that DACA’s rescission was arbitrary and capricious,” he ruled.

Other courts had already put the revocation on hold and ordered the government to renew applications of some 700,000 people who already had DACA status and who reapplied.

We are more American than Trump and his adminstraation. Let me tell you why:

Trump and his circle, despite being born here (Melanie excluded), have made deals with foreign agents and put the security of this country at risk. We pay our taxes and can have no issues releasing them. As a collective, we are productive members to American society, trump and co are a threat to the existence of the nation.

We will prevail.

Note: we are born on foreign soil and our allegiance is to this country. Let that sink in DREAMers. We are the Americans oppressed by compromised foreign nationals. Mind blowing.

I should put this in my 100 mind blowing thread
