Clearly says that only US citizens or green card holders are eligible for the stimulus check.

How are we eligible for unemployment but not the stimulus checks? Just wait and see if you get it or if someone here gets it, they will let us know. IRS said that the people who will be getting the checks via direct deposit will receive it by April 17-April 20 the latest. I know some people that already got it but they don’t have DACA.

DACA Recipients are RESIDENT ALIENS FOR TAX PURPOSES. We are getting the stimulus checks (provided we meet the Adjusted Gross Income thresholds).

Green Card Holder = PERMANENT RESIDENT

Permanent Resident is not the same thing as RESIDENT ALIEN although all Permanent Residents are Resident Aliens.

You can become a Resident Alien for Tax Purposes even if you don't have a green card, basically if you meet the Substantial Presence Test, which all of us do.

Yes, if you have filed via direct deposit/direct debit your 2019 return you should get it fairly quickly.

IRS, like many other agencies under the executive branch, has changed its language and mission statement to fit Trump's America first narrative. IRS has no access to people's immigration status without consent. I am fairly certain you will get the check provided that you meet the other requirements.

What do you mean IRS has changed its language to fit America First narrative...can you point out an example?

I double checked IRS website, resident alien definition has not changed.

Some DACA people on Reddit have received the money already. I believe people with lower income will get the check first.
