Posting warning / alert

I Think some sort of alert or pop-up should appear before allowing anyone to start a new thread i know its possible i've seen it on other boards

here's kind of an idea as to what the warning message could say.

- Don't ask when Dream Act will be voted on or passed no one really knows
- Please Search first to prevent duplicate threads .
- Please make sure to start thread in correct topic section.

Would you be able to post an example of a board that does this?
It would help us to evaluate the possibility of adding this.

I'll see if i can find the board that did it better yet I'll see if i can find the mod .

This would be good. Especially if it says "Make sure not to mention any unacceptable activity" or something like that. People sometimes seem to forget we're in a forum that gets read by a lot of anti immigrant groups.
