Okay, so this is exactly what I am asking for.

When did REPUBLICANS say NO WAIT COME BACK or what event did this happen?

That is all im asking no reason to attack me or lecture me on stuff.

Even the title of this thread says that they declined to meet with Dems without trump. How is that needing them?

Will democrats come to the table, they will, not today not tomorrow, give it maybe till Dec 6th or even the 8th but they'll come, or however long it takes Ryan and McConnell to meet without Trump, but they won't come to negotiate, there will only be an offer that Rs can't refuse, you pass this, the government doesn't shutdown, everyone walks their separate ways, you might want to keep fox quiet about some provisions.

This is the political game of chicken, and what do democrats have to lose, elections are a year away, no one will remember or care that they could've averted it but didn't.

After Trump told them to pretty much don't come. The WH released this statement telling them to come back.
