I wouldn't mind about attorneys. Defending criminals is their job. That's how the system is.
The problem is dreamers with media connections advocating this nonsense of all or nothing. In a way they represent us but clearly that's not what majority of us think. highlight our own achievements, and plights and seek sympathy. He kept DACA and no harm in acknowledging that.
No matter who is in charge, there will always be a compromise or there will be nothing. there are some undocumented who deserve to be thrown out. we get nothing from fighting for them.

Replace Donald Trump with Bannon and Sessions and your statement is 100% accurate. All I know is DACA is alive and kicking. That said, I do have some respect for Trump for the latter! I think there will be a sweeping immigration reform bill coming next year after this enforcement!

I'm not disputing that. I believe that there are people out there who believe every undocumented immigrant should be given a chance, regardless of their criminal history.

And i'm telling you that i think that's retarded.

The problem that the immigrant community is facing now is the fact that the definition of "criminal" has now broadly expanded.

What makes you a criminal now? Driving without a license? Manslaughter? Using a fake SSN? Having a DUI? Murder? Assault? All of these are being basically lumped together now.

Some of you on here are probably guilty or have been convicted in the past for minor shit. Or maybe worked using a fake SSN in the past, but were never caught. Those things now make you a criminal under the new executive orders.

Some of these advocates may be trying to say that some of these things don't necessarily make you a criminal, or that they shouldn't deprive you of trying to fix your status.

Obviously a very serious crime should disqualify you, but once again, what's a serious crime to you?

I bet that your ass will be renewing your DACA as soon as you get the chance if Trump allows it, so do not feed me all this puffery about revolution and idealism.
