I feel like they'll pat themselves in the back and forget about it until someone reminds them. I realize I'm not in a position to be demanding...... but was it really too much to ask to leave DACA alone? It's that 3-years-only and no mention of a renewal part that bothers me.

Cannot blame them, it was an EO from Obama. They will always complain.

Thom Tillis, NC

"Details are still being worked out, but the Tillis plan would be a companion proposal to a House bill introduced by Miami Republican Carlos Curbelo.

Like Curbelo’s bill, the Tillis plan would offer an eventual path to U.S. citizenship for immigrants who entered illegally before Jan. 1, 2012, and were 16 years old or younger."

It's also a stop gap from Trump ending the program as a whole, giving Congress more time to pass something permanent. Understand the difference. With people like you we don't need, your failing to compromise coming in with a "give me what I want mentality".

it's not about "give me what i want mentality" do some of you not get that there's some of us that need stuff like RACA so we can go on with our lives? maybe you guys are content with more daca, but some of us actually need legalization to get where we need to be in life.

can you explain more on this?

Congress will just keep renewing Bridge Act every three years. Congress will never pass anything to get us GC, if Bridge Act is passed.

Would Ted Cruz fillibuster the bridge act? He's kept a low profile since trump won. Probably won't be running for president again.

Is it really that hard for you to understand that we are NOT in a position to choose right now? in a perfect world of course we would want something permanent, but we can NOT choose. All we're saying that if the BRIDGE act does pass why not?

And by the way DACA gave you life, it is not stopping you from living it. We all make choices on how to live life, only you can change that, not any type of legislation.
